Caztek Expands Precision Inspection Capabilities with New Hexagon CMM

Productivity Quality (PQI) is proud to announce its role in helping Caztek establish a new advanced metrology lab built around a Hexagon GLOBAL S 7.10.7 Scan+ A+/T+ Coordinate Measuring Machine. The installation expands Caztek's ability to perform fast, accurate dimensional inspection on complex precision-machined components, and arrives as the company achieves ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification.

Advanced Scanning for Increasingly Complex Parts
At the center of the Quality Lab, the Hexagon GLOBAL S 7.10.7 Scan+ A+/T+ CMM significantly expands Caztek's capacity to inspect components with intricate geometries and tight tolerances. Its advanced scanning technology supports faster, more comprehensive measurement, helping Caztek verify that critical features affecting fit, alignment, movement, sealing, and overall system performance conform to customer specifications.
As part designs become more compact, integrated, and technically complex, inspection capability must keep pace with machining capability. The new CMM increases both measurement capability and inspection throughput, allowing Caztek to move efficiently without compromising confidence in results.
A Collaborative Effort and Partnership
Bringing a new CMM into a working facility takes close coordination among everyone involved in purchasing, planning, and implementation. PQI Sales Engineer Chris Carlson supported Caztek through the project, working alongside Alex Fleagle, Sales Engineer at Hexagon, and the broader channel team to align the equipment with Caztek's inspection goals and keep the project moving on an accelerated schedule.
